CCD Confirmation Service Project

On Monday evening, February 27, as a group service project, the sixth grade CCD Confirmation class made sandwiches for the homeless in Msgr. McGettigan Hall. Each student was responsible for packing a lunch:  a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, a drink box, cookies, cheese crackers and a napkin.  In addition to the 95 lunches that were packed, an additional 21 extra sandwiches were made.  The CCD families also donated all the additional bread, peanut butter and jelly to the Life Center of Eastern Delaware County.  Thanks to all the volunteers who helped supervise the event. A round of applause for our CCD Confirmation candidates! And a special thanks to the CCD teachers - Mrs. Kelly Lawler & Mrs. Ann Marie Campbell - who worked with Mrs. Kathy Caporizzo in organizing this service project.
